Hope Packs
Beanie Love Foundation brings hope to children fighting life-altering diseases, disabilities, and injuries through Hope Packs, prayer, support and our other programs.
A Hope Pack is a personalized drawstring bag with the child’s name on it, and inside is a devotional, a joke book for children, a personal letter of encouragement written by our founder to the child, access to our uplifting Spotify playlist, and toys and activities chosen specifically for the child based on what they like and are interested in, and sometimes an item for their disease that makes treatments a little nicer.
They also receive a beanie if they have cancer or are going through treatment that would cause them to lose their hair.
Encourager Squad
Our Encourager Squad And Courage Creators are volunteer based programs that help encourage our warriors and lets them know they are not alone in the midst of their fight.
Our Encourager Squad is comprised of volunteers of all ages taking pictures or videos with a note of encouragement, making cards and posters, and decorating our postcards of encouragement. We also have a Pet Encourager Squad that consists of the items listed above but with volunteers pets or animals if they work with pets and other animals at their job.
Melody Makers Of Hope
Our Melody Makers Of Hope program is volunteer based and consists of volunteers videoing singing or playing an instrument to a song on our list or made personalized for a special warrior and then saying a short word of encouragement.
All videos are uploaded on our social media pages for our Courageous Warriors and their families to enjoy. These special videos can be then used to calm or encourage a child while going through treatment.
Adventure Bags
Our Adventure Bags are a one of kind experience for courageous warriors who are hospitalized or going through infusion treatments in the hospital. Each bag includes a set of Adventure Bags for the child to choose from. Every adventure is filled with excitement, and fun through a journey of different crafts and activities to accomplish the adventure they have chosen.
During the pandemic, many children were put into isolation and were no longer receiving all of the incredible resources usually offered to them including child life. so we started brainstorming ways to help encourage children who were stuck in the hospital for days, weeks, and even months at a time. Then we came up with adventure bags, Melody Maker's of Hope, Courage And Friends Reading Corner, Encourager Squads, and Courage Creators.
Our Adventure Bags help transport children out of their hospital room and enter into a magical world of adventure and bravery. Some of our adventures have included Space Adventure, Forest Adventure, Ocean Adventure, Cowboy Adventure, Safari Adventure, and much more!
Special Beanie Love Programs
Courage And Friends Reading Corner and Mobile Hospital Library
Our Courage And Friends Reading Corner is a virtual volunteer based program that offers volunteers the opportunity to film a video reading a book off our provided book list and say a short word of hope and encouragement.
These videos are then uploaded on our social media pages for our Courageous Warriors and their families to enjoy.
Our Courage And Friends Reading Corner Mobile Hospital Library provides a book cart filled with books, and games for children who are hospitalized to enjoy at a local hospital that has a pediatric floor for inpatient.
Courage Creators
Our Encourager Squad And Courage Creators are volunteer based programs that help encourage our warriors and lets them know they are not alone in the midst of their fight.
Our Courage Creators consists of volunteers making and creating items for our warriors that make them feel courageous and loved. such as superhero capes, beanies, etc...
A Hope Filled Christmas Packages
Our Hope Filled Christmas packages are filled to the brim with all the magic of Christmas. Each bag includes a felt Christmas tree with felt ornaments to decorate, Christmas blanket, stuffed animal, Christmas coloring book with crayons, Christmas gel window cling, games, and activities.
These special bags go to children spending Christmas time in the hospital to help them feel the magic and hope of Christmas.
Christmas Hope Houses and Christmas Cheer Packages
Our Christmas Hope Houses and Christmas Cheer Packages go to families with one or more children fighting a life-altering disease, disability, or injury here in Arizona.
Christmas Hope Houses are a box decorated like a Christmas themed house and are filled with toys, gift, clothes, shoes, a Christmas Cheer package and needed items for all the children in the family.
Christmas Cheer Packages are packaged in a box with a Christmas baking set including frosting, baking mix, and cookie cutters, Christmas themed activities for the whole family, games, small gifts, and a Christmas themed book.
