Our mission is to spread hope, joy, and love to children and their families fighting life-altering diseases, disabilities, and injuries. We believe small acts of kindness and love can bring light into a dark place. We aim to reflect Jesus' compassion, engaging with others through our prayers, support, and programs.
Beanie Love Foundation offers multiple virtual and in person volunteer opportunities for all ages. Our volunteers have the opportunity to make a difference right from their homes from our multiple virtual volunteer programs. click below to learn more and sign up.
Beanie Love Foundation brings hope to children fighting life-altering diseases, disabilities, and injuries through Hope Packs, prayer, support and our other programs.
A Hope Pack is a personalized drawstring bag with the child’s name on it, and inside is a devotional, a joke book for children, a personal letter of encouragement written by our founder to the child, access to our uplifting Spotify playlist, and toys and activities chosen specifically for the child based on what they like and are interested in, and sometimes an item for their disease that makes treatments a little nicer.
They also receive a beanie if they have cancer or are going through treatment that would cause them to lose their hair.
Kate Smolich found her calling to start the Beanie Love Foundation when she was 13 years old. After a lifetime of battling her own life-altering disease, she wanted to provide encouragement and inspiration to others. The foundation offers these children friendship, prayer, support and hope through giving of time and gift packages. Most importantly, the Beanie Love Foundation serves as a reminder that we are all in this together.
We are proud to partner with a variety of nonprofit organizations and businesses to support our community. Our partnerships enable us to expand our reach and provide even more resources and services to those in need. if you are a company that would like to partner with us click below.
Your support and contributions will enable us to continue to come along side families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives. All funds go toward hope packs, gifts, groceries, activities, items to make medical treatments less scary or easier (personalized hospital gowns, specialty diabetes bags, etc..) clothes, and more.
